This was one of the weaker months in terms of time allotted to movies. Besides job hunting, on the more closely related viewing front, found much of my watching time dedicated to working through the 115 episode run of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (about halfway there), and towards participating in several large-scale projects over on the wrestling blog I write for Never Hand Over. Since I'll be traveling in June and gone for a chunk of that month I intend on watching 12-15 movies in May minimum.
Was Tron a strong film?
ReplyDeletei enjoyed it. after seeing the original a few months ago this one is easier to follow/tolerate, moves at a fairly quick pace, good soundtrack by Daft Punk, etc.
ReplyDeletebest thing I saw last month was Animal Kingdom, though, freaking brutal Australian crime film.
watched Watership Down ('78) to kick off May today and loved it. British animated film about a group of rabbits that is quite adult in its depiction of life (and death).
