I really enjoyed Best Worst Movie. I appreciated that the creators were not mean spirited.
ReplyDeleteRed was a lot of fun.
I enjoyed Somewhere...but I can't help but feel it was step back for Sofia Coppola. More of a live action poem than a film.
Yea, I l dug Best Worst Movie. Growing up, my brother and I loved Troll 2 so to see it become a real-life cult classic is unreal. Documentary was actually sort of touching.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Somewhere too but def. not top shelf Sofia. Lost In Translation was my #1 in my recent Top 100 of the 2000's ballot.
For Aug. (and going forwards) my list is going to be a bit more diverse, especially in regard to time periods, as I'm digging up stuff from the IMDB Top 250 and elsewhere trying to see some older classics I've missed out on.
