What I Watched in December

So ends another moviegoing year and in total I saw 30 more than the last.  In truth, I wish I could have squeezed in another 40-60 (in theory roughly one more per week).  As a father of a toddler and infant, full-time worker, and juggling other hobbies/interests, it's been an interesting but welcomed challenge to find time to enjoy the cinema.  Due to those restrictions toward the last third of the year I shifted focus more on newer releases and genre fare but in the new year I aim to mix in more independent, classic, and art films.  I'd also like to make more theater visits.  I discovered lots of great films, performances, directors, etc. this year.  If I can I may do some sort of video or article detailing in a bit more depth some of my thoughts on the best (and maybe worst?) of what I saw in 2012.  See you at the multiplex, I'll grab the popcorn, you grab the drinks (just ditch the giant soda for water for me -- that's a New Year's resolution from last year I've stuck to!).
